MARILYN HENRION OPEN STUDIO
The textile-based works of life-long New Yorker Marilyn Henrion have always been deeply rooted in the urban geometry of her surroundings. This inspiration is evident from her early abstract quilted works to the recent mixed media linen collages. Recent works will be on display and the artist will speak about her creative process. Henrion is represented in the Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art and her works are included in museum, corporate and private collections internationally. At age 84, this prolific artist continues to produce new work for bi-annual solo exhibitions at Noho Gallery in New York.
