A Weaving Circle with ‘friends of light’

We invite you to come and sit with us and exchange conversation, laughter and thought as we work together on new garments for our ongoing series, ‘with light.’ Weaving tools will be provided for those who wish to participate or learn. Sara Healy of Buckwheat Bridge Angoras and Yoshiyuki Minami of Manonik (www.manonik.com) will accompany us as special guests.

‘friends of light’ is a New York-based weaving and design collective producing hand-woven garments on hand-made looms from locally-grown, processed and spun fibers. Their first series consisted of five jackets woven to form from wool produced in collaboration with Buckwheat Bridge Angoras, a wind and solar powered fiber farm and spinning mill in Elizaville, New York.

Afternoon tea and sweets will be served.

No reservation needed.
