The Farm-to-Fabric Hemp Textile & Fashion Summit is a two-day immersive experience that explores the complete journey of hemp from seed to finished garment. Through hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and expert-led discussions, participants will gain insight into every stage of the supply chain, including farming, processing, textile development, design, manufacturing, and consumer engagement.
Taking place over four sessions across two days, the summit brings together farmers, researchers, manufacturers, designers, artists, and educators to share knowledge, showcase innovation, and foster collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals, experience the farm-to-fabric process firsthand, and learn about the growing role of hemp in sustainable textiles and fashion.
The event also serves as a collaborative platform connecting New York's creative community with leaders across the hemp textile supply chain, creating opportunities for dialogue, storytelling, and cross-sector partnerships that support a more sustainable and resilient future for fashion.
Julian Magazine Release and Fashion Presentation
Choose Your Change has partnered with Julian Magazine is hosting the Farm-to-Fabric Hemp Fashion Showcase and Julian Magazine Release Celebration, a public event highlighting the people, processes, and creativity driving the future of sustainable textiles. As the culminating event of a multi-day educational summit, the showcase brings together designers, artists, farmers, manufacturers, researchers, and cultural leaders to celebrate hemp's journey from seed to finished garment.
The event will feature a curated fashion presentation showcasing collections made from hemp and hemp-blend textiles, demonstrating the versatility, innovation, and growing potential of natural fibers within contemporary fashion. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with designers, learn about the farm-to-fabric process, and explore the connections between agriculture, manufacturing, culture, and creative expression.
The evening will also mark the official release of a special edition of Julian Magazine dedicated to the hemp farm-to-fabric movement. The publication highlights the individuals, organizations, and collaborations working to build a more sustainable textile ecosystem while documenting stories from across the supply chain.
Through fashion, storytelling, and community engagement, the event creates a unique platform for education, cultural exchange, and collaboration, connecting New York's creative community with leaders and innovators from across the hemp textile industry.

Choose Your Change is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit and creative strategy organization connecting art, agriculture, advocacy, and sustainable industry practices. CYC has partnered with NIHC (National Institute Hemp Council) and Indigenous Nations to bridge key leaders between community-led vision and practical implementation, helping farmers, designers, educators, cultural organizers, and mission-aligned partners build projects with real-world impact. Its current work focuses on regenerative hemp textiles, circular economies, Indigenous knowledge sharing, the possibilities of a sustainable US and global hemp market through farm-to-fabric education. Through events, partnerships, storytelling, and hands-on programming, Choose Your Change creates accessible spaces where sustainability, culture, and community can move from idea to action.
