Tour de Tool takes viewers on a live visit to the Textile Department of Pallas University of Applied Sciences, where DIY modifications of weaving tools developed and used in teaching will be showcased together with examples of student work. The department's lecturers will introduce their approach to teaching weaving: following courses in theory and traditional weaving techniques, students take a course dedicated to challenging conventions and breaking established rules. They then have the freedom to define the conceptual starting point and direction of their own weaving projects.
