In person / Workshop/ Block Printing
Reimagine your textiles and clothes with new hand block printed patterns in this hand son workshop.
For a third year in a row, Cynthia Director Studio is hosting an upcycling blockprinting workshop for New York Textile Month.
In this hands on workshop, there will be a demo about blockprinting, then participants will learn how to block print onto fabric and clothes. All of the blocks we use are sourced from India & we will be using water-based screen printing inks. This workshop includes a piece of fabric to print on.
Please bring your own shirts, fabric, napkins, tea towls, and clothes.
This workshop is offered in the morning or afternoon (both sessions are the same), or make an artistic day retreat and sign up for both sessions.
